Places Around to Visit

Yanohara Marsh

This is the second oldest marshland in Japan, formed about 80,000 years ago. It is home to about 350 species of plants and animals, including the endangered Naniwa dragonfly. The fresh greenery in the spring is beautiful, but the autumn leaves are a sight to behold.

Kuimaru Primary School

This wooden school building is over 80 years old. While it has been closed down, it is now reborn as a base for tourism and exchange. Enjoy the fantastic view of the 120-year-old ginkgo tree in the schoolyard, which changes its appearance with the seasons.
