Introduction

This roadside station is located at an altitude of 700m above sea level, a rarity in the Nakadori region of Fukushima, and is surrounded by leisure facilities for tennis, golf, and walking in the summer as well as skiing in winter. Here, you can take a breather after climbing up the mountain pass.

Lake Hatori

Lake Hatori is an artificial lake with a circumference of 16km as the dividing line between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Japan and was built for irrigation and power generation. Nowadays, it has become a resort area with cycling paths, camping sites, and other tourist facilities.
